2007 Petaluma Cabernet Sauvignon – Coonawarra, SA: predominately Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, with Shiraz and Petit Verdot making up the balance. A concentrated wine with some earthy notes mingled with Violets, blackcurrent and blackberry. Cigar box, dark chocolate and some soft spice. It has density without weight and terrific length

1986 Petaluma Cabernet Sauvignon – Coonawarra, SA:  – Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Petit Verdot. Rich, spicy, full nose with a tarry, smoky overlay. Warm woody character. The palate is full, fresh and minty with a savoury spiciness. Finishes very dry.
